Oil prices have risen again following another 24 hours of attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The International Energy Agency announced earlier it was releasing a record amount of oil from national reserves onto the market in an effort to stop oil prices rising.

However, continued Iranian attacks on oil-producing nations in the Gulf - and strikes on three cargo vessels overnight - pushed prices back up again.
