Donald Trump's press secretary Karoline Leavitt was speaking to reporters at the White House.

She says the Iranian regime has been "crushed" and calls it the "world's leading state sponsor of terrorism".

"Prior leaders have been too weak and ineffective to address this threat," she says, before going on to praise Donald Trump as "the man of action".
