Lebanon's health ministry has confirmed that at least 41 people have been killed in armed confrontations between Hezbollah and Israeli soldiers in the Bekaa Valley - along the border with Syria.

The incursion was carried out to search for the body of a deceased Israeli pilot who went missing decades ago.
