An Israeli strike has hit the southern suburbs of Beirut, an area known as Dahiyeh and widely considered a stronghold of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. Images from the Lebanese capital show the immediate aftermath of the attack as smoke rises over the neighbourhood following the strike.
