The world's biggest oil terminal and largest liquefied natural gas facility have been shut down as the Iran conflict escalates, sending oil prices soaring past $100 a barrel.

UK inflation is now expected to hit 3.3% if the crisis continues, forcing interest rates up and making mortgages more expensive for millions of households.
