'Total devastation': Al Jazeera visits Tehran neighbourhood hit by US-Israeli strikes

On day 13 of the war, Al Jazeera's Tohid Asadi reported from a devastated residential neighbourhood in Tehran, where US and Israeli airstrikes have caused widespread destruction, collapsing apartment blocks and leaving twisted metal, shattered glass and rubble covering the streets.
Rescue teams and residents are searching through debris for bodies, as heavy equipment clears wreckage. Iran says nearly 19,000 civilian sites have been hit, and the UN Refugee Agency reports about 3.2 million people displaced.
Officials say at least 1,400 people have been killed so far, with casualties expected to rise as strikes continue across more than 200 cities.
Asadi witnessed a woman mourning her husband, with more than 20–30 people killed in that single neighbourhood.
He recalled the Minab elementary school attack, where over 160 girls were killed while in class. Meanwhile, Iran says it is continuing retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory and US bases, with no sign of de-escalation.
