As the war in the Middle East intensifies, Ukraine is grappling with concerns that global attention—and crucial military support—may be shifting away from its own conflict. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed exchanging Ukrainian-made interceptors for Patriot missiles to address the country's air defence deficit. However, many Ukrainians question whether they can afford to share scarce resources whilst drones continue to strike their cities. The proposal comes amid growing uncertainty about the future of US-Ukraine relations and what changing global priorities could mean for Kyiv's war effort.
