Israeli forces have intensified bombardment across Lebanon, issuing warnings that all branches of the Al-Qard al-Hassan financial institution — linked to Hezbollah and under US sanctions — will be targeted. Lebanese authorities have closed roads and evacuated areas near expected strike sites in central Beirut, including the Nouairi neighbourhood. Residents say they are living in constant fear, as attacks often occur without warning or arrive minutes to hours after evacuation orders. The atmosphere echoes the tense conditions of late 2024, when Israel and Hezbollah last engaged in major hostilities.
