Israel’s military says it has recalled more than 100,000 reservists as part of what it describes as a necessary campaign for the country’s security.
In a press briefing, a military spokesperson said reserve forces have been mobilised over the past week and are now deployed across land, sea and air missions. The army says it will continue coordinating operations while adjusting restrictions where possible.
Israeli officials say the mobilisation is aimed at achieving what they called “significant achievements” on the battlefield, as the campaign continues.
