Germany's car manufacturing giant Volkswagen finds itself in crisis. The company says its operating profit fell by a staggering 44% last year and that led to the decision to cut a total of 50,000 jobs by the year 2030. The various brands under the VW group sold around 9 million vehicles worldwide. But that wasn't enough to cope with the headwinds.
